Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
This document is provided in English only, regardless of the site language you're browsing in.
This Privacy Policy explains how Ninja Cat VPN (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Ninja Cat VPN applications and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
1. Information We Collect
We are a paid VPN service and intentionally collect as little as possible. We collect:
- Account information: the email address you sign in with, and a one-time login code sent to it. We do not require or store a password.
- Device information: a device identifier generated by the app, the device name and platform (e.g. “macOS”, “iOS”), and OS version — used to show your connected devices and enforce per-account device limits.
- Connection metadata: which region you connect to, connection start/end times, and aggregate bandwidth (bytes sent/received) per session — used for showing your own usage in the app and for capacity planning.
- Subscription/billing status: whether your subscription is active, and its expiration date, as provided by the relevant app store or payment processor.
We do not collect or log:
- The websites, apps, or services you access through the VPN
- DNS queries made while connected
- Your traffic content or destination IP addresses
- Your originating IP address beyond what is technically necessary to establish the connection, which is not persisted after the session ends
2. How We Use Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your account and device list
- To operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the VPN infrastructure
- To enforce subscription status and device limits
- To communicate service-related notices to your email (e.g. login codes, subscription status)
3. Data Retention
Account and device information is retained for as long as your account exists. Aggregate connection metadata is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above, and is deleted or aggregated beyond individual identification afterward. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your Rights” below).
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Infrastructure providers (server hosting) strictly necessary to run the Service
- Payment processors / app stores, for subscription billing
- Law enforcement, only where required by a valid legal order, and limited to the account/device metadata described above (we have no browsing logs to provide)
5. Security
Connections are encrypted using NinjaTunnel, our own tunneling protocol. Account access uses one-time email codes rather than stored passwords. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we do hold, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@ninja-cat.ru. You can also delete your own devices and sign out from within the app; deleting your account removes your account and device records.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and, where appropriate, through in-app or email notice.
